The Science Schooling Department (SED) of the Harvard-Smithsonian Middle for Astrophysics develops curricula and materials that mirror current scientific and academic philosophy. Reports by the American Academy for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), together with Project 2061, and by the National Committee on Science Education Standards and Assessment element targets for science schooling that hyperlink classroom science to sensible applications and societal implications.
